WHAT'S ON...
14th April 2021
BWHEG are hoping to resume guided walks and other activities soon. Fingers-crossed more lockdown restrictions will be eased soon.
WATCH THIS SPACE FOR UPDATES!!
BWHEG have resumed the monthly wetland bird surveys with appropriate social distancing being observed.
This may change in future depending on COVID-19 guidelines.
BWHEG GUIDED WALKS PROGRAMME
Some walks will be best for reasonably fit adults, but many will be suitable for older children or people with limited mobility. They will range in distance from 5 to 10 km (3 - 6 miles).
Most walks will start from the Blaenavon World Heritage Centre, usually at 10.00 a.m., with a few afternoon walks starting at 2.00 p.m. Where an alternative start point is given, this indicates an intermediate point on the walk with car parking nearby.
Please wear appropriate footwear and be prepared in case of wet weather.
